help me pick a strain

It must finish by the end of Sept or early Oct at the latest. At least 20% THC and a good yeild. Not be to unruly because the mother will be indoors. Please give me something to think about.
Thanks,
Randy

where you live? Do you think you will have mold problems. Mold is A#1 when I think strains....

I wouldn`t mind advice on this same subject. I live in NC our avg last frost date is nov9 with 13 days standard deviation. I rarely have to water in fact on my outdoor grow I haven`t watered in almost 2 months b/c we get enough light afternoon showers here and there around this time of year, and plenty of morning dew. Even during the summer it rains quite often in the afternoon to evening so mold might be a big concern for me I guess.

Re: help me pick a strain

You need to grow Hollands hope then. It is a strain that is good on mold. it was made for hollands wet rainy conditions. Giving hope to holland MJ Growing. Pick a strain that works for you and your conditions.

I have never grew it. But it should be a pretty good strain for mold and finishing times. chek it out

Hollands Hope.

Thumbs up Re: help me pick a strain

I can suggest Blue Dream but might not be available in your area as it's clone only here in Northern Cali, but lemme tell ya, it's one hardy strong plant!

1 bag seed and this is what it's gone thru without a single yellow leaf:

#1. It has been hit every single day by the yard sprinklers for 10 minutes getting soaked in it's 15 gallon planter sitting on the grass. Now in it's 6th week of flowering showing no signs of mold, rot, or fungus. Temps here in summer ranged from 46 low to above 106 degrees. Just 2 weeks ago all week the temps were over 90 degrees. Plant dries early as sprinklers go at 6am.

#2. I went thru some learning mistakes with home brewed compost teas ~
So some bad tea went into the planter, at least 8-10 applications over 2 months that I found out later were causing mold/fungus/rot on other plants, applied to roots and in full strength foliar sprays. Mold never touched the MJ.

#3. Planted in a moment I was stoned, course bag and pipe in hand packed with blue dream, sooooo, it was popped into the soil w/5 anaheim chilies in an originally 8 gallon pot. MJ plant was growing in soil already populated with established root systems but it didn't blink and just kept growing. Never got a lick of fungus or mold, even though the anaheim chilis suffered greatly from spotting and yellowed leaves, the mj plant was the greenest in the garden and it is rubbing up against chili plants bad moldy leaf every single day.

So it took heat, stress, mold inducing bad compost tea over 2 months worth, shared root system fighting for everything it ever got out of the soil, and it's still going to be the prettiest plant in the garden when it's ripened...
so go for some blue dream, at least a sample part of yer garden! It's a kind smoke for pain, insomnia, and a host of other medical needs.

Re: help me pick a strain

Try and get your hands on some Church seeds from Holland. Only available as Fem. Church are almost 100% mould resistant. Tip Church Seeds into Google to get the spec. Good Luck

Re: help me pick a strain

I grew The Church from GHS this year. Beatiful plant, but mold resistant it is not. Lemon Skunk was probably slighyly more resistant, but I wouldn't recommend either one as exactly early finishers.

Re: help me pick a strain

I grew holland's hope this year. a hardy strain, does not need much attention. Good smoke but not very strong.
