Re: mold resistant strains

read old porks grow. he had very good luck with White widow being resistant to mold due to the high trich, thc development keeping water from saturating the buds and rotting.

Re: mold resistant strains

I don't think there are any strains which are 100% resistant to mold.

Re: mold resistant strains

I have found that in general sativa or sativa dominant strains resist mold better.

I have had good luck with Kali Misty or Early Misty, Kodiak Gold, Mass. SS and Durban Poison. I do not live in an area with hot and humid conditions, I have cool foggy conditions to tend with.

Try to find a landrace strain from Asia or Africa as these still have the genetics to survive in natural environments. The problem with a lot of the seeds available online is they have been breed solely for THC, smell and appearance and NOT for mold resistance, drought resistance, etc....

Re: mold resistant strains

Re: mold resistant strains

Durban has a great uplifting high. The yield isn't great as it is very stretchy and tends to have a bit of space between buds along a branch. What it lacks in quantity it makes up for in quality, great candy smell. It finishes early for a sativa also (mid-october)
