A Hairy Problem?

Ciao to you all.
I have a question regarding one of my two maturing Skunk #1 plants. The attached pic is of a bud tip (as if). Being a first-time grower, I'm a little concerned about the ripening - the vast majority of pistils that have turned red have only done so on their tips, and either I'm crazy (that's the state's contention, not mine!) or it seems like those tips have been that way for about ten days, or even more. Are the whole length of the pistil supposed to turn? Is the rainy weather we've been having here in Seattle the last couple of weeks to blame, and I should be unconcerned? Please help - I'm all excited but worry is starting to rear it's ugly little head. Thanx

Pistles turning is obviuosly a sign that your plant in almost ready to harvest. You should also be checking out the Trichromes;

If they are Clear your plants are not ready to harvest
If they are Cloudy your plants can be harvested and should give you an uplifting type of high
IF they are Amder you will get a couchlock high.
If they are cloudy/amber you get the best of both highs.

Of course this also depends on strain for the type of high you will get.

More than three days rain in a row this time of year is prime for Grey Molds and Fungus to thrive.

Hey, sorry 'bout the reply delay, but I forgot the, .... I forgot the ..., oh hell, now I forgot what I forgot!
I call Seattle/Ballard home, although my landlord just informed us this week that they want to sell the abode which we call home. So it looks like we'll be movin' in the next two months. I was thinkin' West Seattle, Delridge. Burien would be a little too far for my old lady - her friends and all.
