Beach growing?... is it possible?

hey, maybe someone can help...
I live on the beach (miami beach to be exact)
and i've been saving seeds for quite sometime now, and i was wondering if it's possible to grow on the beach?
And if it is, What would be handy tools, tips or fertilizers that could be useful?

salt air would probably hurt the plant, i'm a blacksmith, and any gates i replace near salt water are allways far worse with rust than normal...........but give it a go as long as know the risks...........beach's are usually quite busy places are they not?...........Peace out...........Sid

it's a private beach, not much goes on here...
but i did find an area that is rich in soil and is more than 100yds away from any sand... my only concern is the "salt sea air"
Anyways, im gonna give it a try, im going to completely experiment and sprout the seeds indoors first inside pots and keep em moist, humid and alot of light...
*shrug* we'll see... never know... ¿beach weed?

Well, i hope youre not growing in sand, dont think sand has too great NPK values, or any for that matter. Youd better have big holes with a lot of soil. Growing by the ocean, uhhh would work, but with a downside. You like salty nugs? Theres gonna be a lot of humidty by the ocean, which you dont want during flowering, and might be prone to mold. If youre not too close to the sea, give it a shot, you could make a mini greenhouse around eachplant with some clear plastic wrapped around steaks around the plant.

tose some bag seeds, and see how they grow, and adatp to the enviroment.. if u see good results, then u have a good place to grow your plant. if the expiriment fails for anyreasome.. u can always hunt for new grounds for growing...
