Need a bit of advice/help.

Alright, so I've never grown and early this year I found a good 10-12 plants growing in a farm. I transplanted a few of them, but only one really took. I've given them potassium, nitrogen based fertilizer and everything I could think of. As of now, the one transplanted is very tall but not at all bushy. It's very thin, but it has numerous stalks with at least 4-5 flowers on each. It's about 6 feet tall and it's strange seeing all the results from here compared with mine. I'll post pics tomorrow if I remember.

So, based on the description, do you think there's anything wrong with it? Do you think that it'll be useless or anything? I'm really confused as most of the users here have plants full of leaves and shit while mine is just so... depressing? Lol.

So you jacked someones plants an took them home to grow yourself? If this is the case I hope your plants die. And you lose your right arm for ripping plants.

No no, they're wild ditch weed. I've thrown numerous seeds out in the fields just for the hell of it and some of them took apparently.

I know for a fact that they don't belong to anyone. However, if you want to believe I jacked someones shit, then feel free to not give me any advice.

Sounds fishy... Uprooted plants need to be shaded several weeks to survive. Also 6 hours direct sun is nec. as the plants' motor or they'll be lanky and useless. Ditchweed has no THC in it.

I didn't have the intent of planting them, I just wanted to get rid of them so I threw them out in the field. This was a good 2-3 years ago when I did and in May I went on a wild hunt when I ran out of bud and found the plants just barely growing. They weren't ditch weed seeds, they were some decent mids, nothing too extremely satisfying but something to get a good high. I didn't mean ditch weed as in "some crappy weed". I meant it was just growing in the wild, near a ditch in a field. I should have been more clear about the situation, but still. Anyway, the plant in question did take root and is growing well, but I still have doubts about it. It has really white hairs with a crystal-ish looking refraction to them. It's just not growing like the ones I see here. Is it possible that the strain is causing it to grow differently?

No, buds are buds. Some are more sugary, compact etc... than others (genetics). How much direct sun do they get? Pics?

I'd say roughly 4-5 hours now. The foliage around has grown to shield the sunlight from it so... I'm not exactly sure. I'll take some pics in a few hours when the sun comes up.

dang those are so lanky plants, with hardly any fan leaves. bud looks smokable in my opinion either its a rediculous midi strain, or they had lack of sunlight or something.

It's lacking sun but still seems to have thin long fan leaves (?), maybe it is "ditch" weed (?). There might not be any THC in them if that's what it is. Other than that the white specks are made by aphids and spidermites so you should treat that with a garlic based insecticide (see sticky in organic sectioh) or pyrethrin. You could sample some and dry it to see if it gets you high. Later man.

Let me get this straight, you threw some seeds out 2 years ago and now they are growing in the wild? Why not let them live out in the original spot? If they have grown and reproduced for 2-3 years on their own then this spot was a decent one. I would have pulled the males and checked back in Sep to see progress.

From the looks of that bud it may not be worth the risk of them being found right next to your house. You say it was bagseed, yet they appear very sativa dom yet budding already? What kind of weed you buying? Hemp (the true definition of bagseed, you seem a little confused about this) fits this description a little better then bagseed. You cannot tell potency of grass by appearance, smell, or even taste although you can infer based on these. Only one way for you to tell what that quality is......I think you know what that is.

Next year get some better genetics, and more light as corto suggested. If this plant turns out to be garbage make sure to eradicate any survivors so a stray male does not pollinate your plants. Hope you get some good smoke from them although I hope you don't expect much.

I took the males out already, the specks are pollen from the wild plants growing by the area. In person it looks better than it does in the pictures. I figured it wasn't getting enough light but I didn't want to pull it back up or anything. I'm gonna wait it out and see if it improves by next month. Anyway, thanks for the help guys. I appreciate it.

The original spot of the plants is still full of a good 5-7 of them after I pulled up the bulk of the males. There was a male I missed and now the pollen sacks have broken open so it'd be a wasted effort to pull them up now.

Oh, and they're not budding yet. That plant is still growing, it doesn't have any buds on it yet that I could sample.
