Need help with cutting/harvesting

My girl is about ready, I know that im supposed to wait until all the trichs are amber. But long story short I don't have the proper utensil to check it and have no transportation to pick one up for a few days. I do however have two digital cameras one that i can zoom in close enough to see that the trichs are cloudy and some are amber. I really wanted to wait to harvest if possible because i have only been flushing a week and i would like to try to get closer to two, BUT i dont want to harvest to late for maximum THC and to early for maximum weight. Im on day 67 and its bag seed from some great smoke and this is my first out door grow. She is a beautiful plant and i want to get EVERYTHING out of her that i can. I truly appreciate any help on this. I would post a pic but my other laptop is shot with the slot for the memory card and the other cam that i can get pics from you cant see close enough to see the trichs but if a pic would be helpful ill happily post..

Thanks for your help GC community i couldn't have done it without you!!

Re: Need help with cutting/harvesting

my 2 cents from pics...needs a few weeks to a month at LEAST. I've never heard of any non auto that is finished this early, but don't have alot of experience that far south.

IME when about 75-85 % of the pistils are no longer white you are in the neighborhood. From those pics your not even close. You would be significantly decrease yield and quality if you harvest those soon. You should really invest $10 at radio shack and get a 50-100x zoom to be sure of trichs.

Good luck plants look nice, impressive for 70 days from seed.

You want to stop fertizling 1 to 2 weeks prior to harvesting, so the plants are flushed with water. Otherwise you end up with chemo bud that doesn't burn right, ashes are different colour, tastes bad and smells bad. Very gross. Purple streaks are normal, either cold or strain type.

exactly i have tasted that sparkle show one to many times buying green that looked great but wasn't flushed right..

Given that my soil is VERY AIRY, so much so that i have to water a gallon or more a day, am i right to assume that i should be able to flush her pretty quick? Reason i ask is i had stopped feeding a week or so ago, assuming i was pretty close. But now that it seems ive at least got a couple weeks, i would like to start feeding again for at least a week to obviously push the flowers and to help get rid of the purple streaks in the stems..

So from what I'm reading I'm again assuming, it should be fine to feed for another week or so, and still have plenty of time to flush right??

Thanks again everyone shes looking great today, 3 days since last pics so ill post some more tonight :-)

Re: Need help with cutting/harvesting

Since I'm in Fla should i expect to harvest sooner than the rest of the country? Due to the over powered sun? It seems about 10 percent of the pistols have changed already, so it seems shes deff gonna be early unless I'm mistaken..

And i accidental touched some of the trichomes today and smelled my fingers.. OMFG what a great smell.. Smelled like cheese or Blue dream very VERY pungent and its just some bag seed from some middys... wow SO FAR so good, im very exited!
