2009 Grow and Smoke Show

Hey fellow Boys and Girls,

Another year and grow. This year my plans are to grow three different strains; Himilayen Gold, Blue Berry, and Durban Poison.

No more Fuching around, so I bought breeders packs, so your almost garenteeed what your growing. »The HG is from Green House seeds and DP is from Dutch Passion and the BlueBerry was a clone I bought from respected friend and grower.

I,m growing with BX promix like usual - combo`ed with the topsoil, already there, also I`m sweetening the soil with lime stone and adding air to the soil with vermiulite. This combo has worked very well in the past annd is proven very effective.

As for Nutrients, this year all im using 20-20-20, keeping it simple this year. No more time released ferts, I like my bud to smoke not crackel, if you catch my drift.

Let me know if anyone has any question, or if anyone wants some more detail that i missed. Check my previous threads........cheers mates.

Re: 2009 Grow and Smoke Show

Lets see a little more of you and your grow this year. Your 07 thread was nice, could use your journal this year. Looking forward to this. Hope the Dutch Passion beans work out. I picked up some Passion 1 in the Dam and was a little disapointed in the easily crushable packaging. DP is one of the last seedbanks still holding on to the 99 cent packaging.

pATRIO Farmer, very true. Dp seeds, the packaging is crap, but the quality is there. I too grew Passion 1 is the past and I had good results not great but good. The smoke was very smothe and the buzz was uplifing, with an earthy taste. Over all I would recommend this strain to people starting out for the first time. Because I found Passion 1 was very resistant to the cold and mold factors and fairly easy to grow. Peace out.....PF.

Re: 2009 Grow and Smoke Show

Here's an update for all you to enjoy. The strain in the picture is Blueberry or its what I call it, because it was a clone that was given to me, and the person coined the unknown strain Blueberry for its berry/sweet taste. It's finished last year around middle of Sept, with a nice yield. Here's it go's anyway.

The pictures of the plants, were taken when the plant was outside for 2 weeks. Let me know if anyone has a guess on what this strain might actually be.

Re: 2009 Grow and Smoke Show

Can someone tell me how to move my thread to the grow journal section?........thanks......

Also, I plan on going on a hike to take some pics from another spot. At the other spot I have my Durban Poison, hopefully all is well with them as well.......So far I've been getting great weather thanks to global warming. I need a good year, cause last year wasn`t so good for my plants considering half of them hermied on me.

Also, thanks everyone for the great interest.......llol....any details, comments or requests. .....let me know

Re: 2009 Grow and Smoke Show

Anyway my questions were not of importance to anyone, I guess..... That's ok I still love everyone.

I'm look for ideas for fertilizing my plants most effectively. Currently for veging Im using 20-20-20, but for budding im looking for ideas......both chemical and organic......i prefer organic.......so more ideas the better.

Nice choice on the strains for your moving your thread question, try contacting a moderator, they shouldn't have a problem moving it for ya. Good job, keep it up.

See you got some more effective fencing this year. Did you email moderators about moving this thread? Nice looking grow.

Re: 2009 Grow and Smoke Show

hey patriofarmer, no i never emailed the moderator yet, i was hoping they would notice it then move it, guess not.....lazy!

Anyway, the fencing is very effective i found for keeping out those tiny animals. Also, the fencing is helpfull when your plants fall over. I'd recommend using chicken fening for any outdoor grower who cant tend to their plants frequently.

Re: 2009 Grow and Smoke Show

I'll tell you what, if you update a little more with the beauties like two years ago they will get it done asap!

I don't remember the exact timeline of your last thread, how's this year stacking up? Growth the same? Your old threads will not load for some reason and all I can remember were some nice buds at the end of 07

Good luck.

Re: 2009 Grow and Smoke Show

Patriofarmer, I dont know but the links work for me....thats weird they dont work for you.

Anyway this year is working out great, I'm getting a foot to foot and half growth per 2 weeks. All my plants are loving the extra rain where getting this year. This year reminds me of 2006, one of my best years in the past since I started growing. Hopefully there is no early frost.....

Updates are being posted today........I have to hike up a mountain first......arg.

Peace out.....

Re: 2009 Grow and Smoke Show

Hey here's some updates of my unknown Blueberry. All the berry's look great no signs of stress or lack of nutrients....

The plants in the pics were planted the first week of June and their about 4 feet tall now. Also, it looks like the plants are in their 1 to 2 week into flowering.

Re: 2009 Grow and Smoke Show

Here's some of the latest. Had some minor problems with the amount of rain this year. A couple of my plants were sitting in puddles for who knows how long and they where water logged and wilted to death. To save the rest i dug up channels in the ground to run the water away from my plants, Fuchen sucked to cause it was pouring and the only tool I had was a axe. What I did was with both my axe and my hands i made almost mini rivers on the surface of the soil, oh and then more problems where to pool the water....duh.....anyway all was worked out I hope.....

Pic 1 is a nice and healthy durban maybe 5 plus feet.....and first week of flower
Pic 2 is a closer look at my bag seed Blue Berry second to third week into flowering.
