Re: My first real grow: need help

Scratch that i found a 30-10-10 solution from miracle grow gave some to my biggest female yesterday(diluted 1/2) and have noticed big growth so i gave a little to the other guys too.

would super bloom 12-55-6 be good to give when its time to flower?

And to flush before i harvest for about two weeks i just feed them water right?

I agree with stickynugs. Roots of any plant can be easily damaged from the sun or any strong light. I'd either brush the clear buckets with some black paint or put them in pot's that don't allow light through the sides. May not be a huge issue at this point, but when they get bigger the roots will stay away from the sides of the pots where the sunshine is peering through and may restrict the growth at some point.

they look great otherwise! keep up the good work and good luck to you

Updated 09 Grow: My humble garden

UPDATE

so i finally got a hold of a camera.
took a lot of pics, my plants are doing good except for what seems to be bud rot on one plant and some mold/mildew on another. i spray both plants with a dish soap solution for bugs and heard it helps with the mold too. theres 5 plants but one is a tiny clone that looks very strange, another small one and there is three nice bushy plants. all of them are fems.

Lemon Skunk:

Shiskaberry:

Sativa#1:

Bubba Kush Clone:

Plant Mold/Mildew:

Bud Rot

Can someone clarify the problem with my plants?
your response....

Re: My first real grow: need help

I'm afraid it looks like Botrytis infection (bud rot).

Serenade Garden disease control spray is an organic fungicide Bacillus subtilis that sounds like it is safe to use on MJ, or you can make an organic fungicide of 1 tsp. baking soda and 1/4 tsp. horticultural oil mixed in 1 qt. warm water. Spray frequently on suspected botrytis victims.

Re: My first real grow: need help

Ideally, yes. I had a bad time w/ budrot year before last. cut off what you can and try to avoid shaking the plant or touching any other parts. put the cuttings in a bag and burn or bury. Do not composte. botrytis spores will over winter in the soil.
