One of the negative effects of not making sure a cache is near by is perhaps there may be one near your girls and someone stumbles on your plot looking for it! The website is www.Geocaching.com you'll be surprised by where these little things are located.

Re: Warning, check cache before plot!

lol I heard of it and figured it could be hazardous to outdoor growers. My cousin and I were walking on a park trail and we stopped to smoke a blunt. In the middle of the blunt this guy comes walking so we put it out and i tossed it and watched where it went so i wouldnt lose it. So the guy comes up and were on a bench that overlooked a river and he starts talking to us. And it was about that geocaching bullshit. He talked to us for real at least an hour it seemed like 2. And we didnt want to leave cuz of the blunt being on the ground. But he finally left and we got the blunt and all i can remember is thinking "this old man is wasting his life finding dumb shit that other people set there (no offense to geocachers this is just how i feel). Like these people drive across country sometimes, the man told us that he had traveled a couple states before. And he said they sometimes look for hours and they dont even know what it is their gonna find. Out at nightime with a flashlight over this shit. They could be out doing research on rare or endangered plants/animals/fungi (aka something productive) ehhemm.... grow some bud. I mean find another way to be active than to waste your time and gas money on geocaching.

The way i see it is that these peolple would more than likely rip from our plots and if not rip from them the yuppee majority of geocachers will tell the police no doubt. It really seems like a government conspiracy to me but everything does to me. I tell you what if i see a geocaching thing anywhere near my shit i will make sure that these people do not feel welcome. It just not fair ive had enough of my people dog me in my life im not bout to let someone i dont even know do it.

Sounds good at first but they will just keep looking for them. I guess the thing to do if you have a good spot and want to chance it. Join the game and find them then monitor for future treasure geo planting. Just one more risk.
Anyway thanks for the info may have save me a lot of ass bustin work only to come up dry. Hate that sunking feeling after working hard for nothing or gettin riped off. Came close to a real fortune once. My partner prompthy put his truck in reverse by accident and hit a tree pretty hard. upon return from our loss by rip off, not sure what became of the idiot theif with many many pounds of BUNK leaf just beginning to flower. It had potenial it was a amature theif for sure. if I was the theif I would have waited 75 days or so. It was his first big dissapointment, I have seen many over the last couple decades of my hobby.
