Re: Outdoor Grow Guide

So you only need to use fish emulsion tea for Nitrogen in flowering stage? Where do you mix the mulch in when creating the plots?

Yeah, fish emulsion is a good organic source for Nitrogen. BUT IT'S FOR VEGETATIVE STAGE mostly, ok? Give them a little of P (bat guano) and K (molasses) in veg too (for balance). Keep feeding a little fish em. in flowering too.

The mulch isn't mixed in but placed on top! When you mix in the blood meal, bone meal, manure, lime (or ashes or eggshells) and the local soil, over the winter put the mulch on so the nutes aren't flushed out. Then, in July, when you actually plant, take off the "winter mulch", mix in the peat ( or coco, or promix), the wormcastings and place the fish on top a few inches from surface. Plant the mj, water, add more new mulch (= grass, leaves...) that you keep all summer long (change it when it's yellow or use veg. that don't get yellow too quick for camo I suppose).

Mulch will reduce watering trips and increase yield.

Re: Outdoor Grow Guide

Ok CB! Yeah , I edited the post before seeing your post (I added mostly, lol). OP uses fish emulsion all season long . This guide is just what I figured out from the last months on GC. It's like a summary. I just grew 3 times with chemicals so I'm not an organic pro you know! The GC gardeners in this guide can probably answer your questions better than me. especially after wake n' bake! But I'll do my best. I have grown it 3 times (2 successes) in the wild though!

Re: Outdoor Grow Guide

The best outdoor grow guide I've seen.Definately should be a sticky. I liked the tip on coloring the cut of a branch. Never thought of that one.

Re: Outdoor Grow Guide

i dont mean to sound like a dumbass but i just want to get a few things straight before i start my first grow. i just ordered galaxy god bud seeds from bcseeds.com and i dont want to ruin them.

"Use 1/2 organic potting soil (no manures or organic ferted soils like FFOF: too hot) + 1/2 peat moss + 15% wormcastings"

what is peat moss and wormcastings? if i go to home depot and ask for them will they know what i am talking about?

once again "If you're going organic, OP's 3-4 gallon pots have 20% worm castings + a 1/2 handful of blood meal and a 1/2 handful of bone meal + 60 Promix + 20 native soil."

could you please explain this to me

"After 1 month or so, take them out from the cups (cut the cups), and put them in 3-4 gallon pots in order to kill the males if non femmed before you put only females in the holes (no males in the hole is smart thanks OldPork)"

i am really confused about this, after you cut the cups are you putting them in a pot or burying them in the ground.

thanks in advance. sorry if i sounded like a complete dumbass but i didnt want to waist my time and money and seeds
