Harvested some more. Yeah!

Well, last night I harvested a few more buds. There's still the same amount left outside. I'll get the rest in 1 week. They're turning purple and sticky now: cool. But kind of a weird strain because they're 3-4 ft tall (indica?) , started flowering in August and could go until end of October!!!. Because they were short I assumed they would finish quick but these are hybrids having the size of an indica but flowering like a sativa. Some of them had long, skinny leaves and the flower/leaf ratio was different (some easy to cure, others not). The high is good but not sativa like, just good old weed. It needs to cure to be at its best. Anyway, this year was just like that, wasn't even supposed to do anything, but next year, if I grow, I'll buy seeds to choose what I want. Enjoy the pics! I have a couple plants that are maturing the same way. they look like indica, but the trichs are just now cloudy. Mine are bagseed.

I know why every culture has a harvest celebration...it's a great feeling to be bringing in the sheaves so to speak, ain't it?

I have C.Sativa strains that only get around 4 feet tall because I grow them in smaller pots...10". They do take a little over 3 months for the buds to mature though.

It is a nice feeling to bring it back home. Thanks Old School. The one I just smoked made me "couchlock" so it is potent! That's cool. I need to dry and cure it well. It'll be good with my new vaporizer . Let the good times roll. These buds were supposed to get bigger but the plants finished without fan leaves (only bud leaves left because lack of water twice in summer!!). The buds still grew but less probably. The plants were in pots but I think they still would have been short (they didn't grow at all in flowering). It's an interesting breed if you want to leave a short sized, longer flowering plant without it getting enormous. It stays low and ends up with good sticky purple buds. I like observing the stages in the life of the mj. The plant teaches you more every year. Happy to have more experience (AND some homegrown ganja of course)!
