Re: Kiwi seeds 2 pounder.

Yields are really good, almost as if it grows itself, but its a late one! Flowering can go into the 80 day mark! The good thing about this though is that these plants are EXTREMELY mold resistant. You WILL NOT have to worry about them at all.

Good smoke with a really nice high, and you get lots!

Weather is great here, hot, dry and sunny all through the growing season - the plants love it !! And it is great up on the roof.

I am like Harry, wishing I lived in Spain. the Kiwi strain sounds interesting. Mold is a BIG problem for me. Anyone know a good source, or so all the banks stock it?

Re: Kiwi seeds 2 pounder.

I ordered mine from a UK outfit called GrowHigh. Never used them before, so we will see how it goes.

cantharis I was considering the 2 pounder as well but then decided to rather take a little smaller yield and go with the Kiwi Seeds Mako Haze instead.
Check out the link below and you'll know why.

Hey Bro- check out Old Porks White Widow grow. That plant seems VERY good at repeling mold. You have to be wise when you pick your seeds. Dont pick ones that look great on the seed banks. Pick ones that will suit your climate & harvest date's. You'll be much happier.
As far as mold I used Neem oil all summer & fall up till about a month ago. Woks great on small bugs. And not any Mold. This is significant for me because I live in a very low area with a large creek near our home. Many many nights we have thick fog with no air movemant. So once again I encourage you to "choose wisely".

Re: Kiwi seeds 2 pounder.

Thanks, Harry, I have ordered the 2 pounder now and in 2009 will be growing it alongside my own and Old Pork´s favourite, White Widow (I have over 120 seeds of that). I will try a cross as well, just for fun in 2010 (God willing, of course). My climate through the growing season is hot, dry and sunny, mould is just NOT a problem here.

Re: Kiwi seeds 2 pounder.

Whose Widows do you use Cantharsis? I know you grow in containers, but what is your average yield?

Hi dankohzee. The last WW I bought were from amsterdammarijuana seeds, I used the best male and female from them to get about three hundred more seeds - sold a few of them.
The plants from those seeds gave me a potent and smooth smoke, averaging 18 ounces a plant - which I thought was a good yield from pots. I was real pleased with that harvest.
Now my aim is to get 2 pounds from a container grown plant - hence the 2 pounder seeds - if I can get a stable cross with that and the WW, that will really be the business. See where I am coming from?

Re: Kiwi seeds 2 pounder.

I remember yo saying on some other thread, but what size containers do you have to use to get a yield that large?

Re: Kiwi seeds 2 pounder.

I use 50 litre (11 UK (13 US) gallon) rubber tubs.

Here is one next to a 2.5 UK (3 US) gallon bucket. About the biggest I can manhandle. These are easily available here in Spain, builders use them to mix plaster.

Re: Kiwi seeds 2 pounder.

I can get 25 US gallon blow molded cheapo containers (8 count for about 50 dollars). They have no handles and I won't be able to move them once filled, but I think they'll work. I have a swampy section of my property that gets really great sun and is very dry on the surface all summer long. If I dig, though, I hit water in about a foot and a half. As with most swamps, there is tons of camo, so i've wanted to grow here for years. I think I maygive it a try with some widows and (I guess) Opium or G13 haze next year.
