Yes, it's another one of those threads. I was just wondering if some of you kids wouldn't mind sharing some of your favorite (tried and true) outdoor strains. I'm contemplating a gorilla grow (in addition to my regular grow) for next year, and I'm looking to add a very heavy and early strain that's very resistant to rot and has a world class stone and taste. in other words: The perfect outdoor strain. I'm especially interested in strains that finish by the end of September and are currently available in feminized versions.

BTW: If you haven't personally grown it then don't mention it.

ok well i can only talk about the two strains i have grown. first off, i would recomend early misty if you are going to want an early finisher. i would say it would have finished around september 15th had the plant not died. very resistant to rot, grows like crazy if you give it fish emulsion, and is really a gorgeous plant. check it out...the seeds are from nirvana.
as for mandala safari mix, you dont know what youre going to get out of it. its a mix of breeder experiments from mandala, but its still very very good pot. i bet youre thinking of higher quality strains, but check out mandala. his genetics are one-of-a-kind and he should be back sometime this spring.

Oh, believe me CB, I have my eye on a number of out of stock mandala strains along with several of DJ Shorts and Legends. I'm prepared to pounce as soon as they become available. Those sure looked dank as hell.

Yes, although I am not quite as dazzled by Cannabis Cup winning strains as I once was. The Cheese I grew this year is a nice smoke, but certainly not a championship strain.

Hindu Skunk. For the past few years we have been trying to keep track of the good ones. I grew Hindu Skunk this year and last. It has a great yield (2.5-3pound for ours), is bug resistant and has a fantastic smell and taste. I don't know your grow season but, out of the 7 strains I grew this year, it was the second to mature. Also, Bubblegum, although not bug resistant, had a very good yield of some tasty buds and was the 3rd to mature. This year what turned out bad was the Big Shiva. The Mazar didn't do so well either. The yield was good but wasn't near what we were expecting and the potency was not as expected. However, it was the first to harvest. Keep in mind, when buying clones I'm never 100% sure of the strain.
