SATELLITE garden pics!!!

Has anyone checked out their outdoor garden from Google Earth or Weather.com? It's so cool ! I couldn't see mine on google earth but I checked weather.com and my garden from `07 is there. I wish I knew a way to show it. I don't know how to copy the pic. If anyone finds their garden from satellite, let me know . Also let me know if you know a another website to check. On weather.com there is an interactive map available by clicking on the map at the bottom, left of the home page.

It's not nearly as cool to those of us who don't live in medical states.

Re: SATELLITE garden pics!!!

We found our friend's garden and it's under brush (and very not legal). If you're growing outdoors you should be able to find it on satellite. If it's getting sun it should be visable to satellite? Actually, I really don't know? Anyway, if they can find it, hopefully it will be fun. Btw, did you find your's?

Fortunately, anything magnified beyond what can be seen with the naked eye at 500 feet is totally inadmissible in any court, thus worthless for law enforcement purposes.

Re: SATELLITE garden pics!!!

I wish they would tell me when the satellites are coming over - so I can be sure they get my best side.

All ya gotta do is press PrntScrn on a PC; That copies what is on your screen to the clipboard as an image. Then paste it into Irfanview or any other picture program. Yeah I agree with Dank...it aint so cool to see your grow on Google Earth, at least not in my world.

Re: SATELLITE garden pics!!!

Yes, you can clearly see my plot from last year about late August I think. While checking for gardens that I know, a few wouldn't get the close up that some do. I also found it on maps.live.com. It was the same pic but gave me different angles.

Re: SATELLITE garden pics!!!

I have read that if you use a phone to take pics that has GPS, the exact coordinates are recorded somewhere in the file. So stick to a dumb digicam.
