For all the fellow growers in the north east, tonight will be the first frost of the season. According to TWC much of the New England region will drop to the low 20's. Happy Harvesting

idk if this is true or not but i red on here somwhere that if you soak the hell out of the ground that your roots are in it will be harder for them to freeze?

yo man it differs from place to place. for example, im in eastern MA and not expecting frost for a while. atleast early october. last night, i dont think the temp dropped blow 45

Yeah New England is a large chunk of land some bordering on Canada. Check out Hotbodies last post on her thread there is a great link to the national weather service webpage. I check Yahoo weather for low temps for my zip code for a more specific forecast.

Ganja Guru I hope you are in lower NE so that your bubbleiceos? spelling can finish up.

big plants and withstand a minor frost, dont harvest early because of a frost fear. if your really frightened a plastic covering over the top of the plants would prevent frost damage.

You read that in one of my posts...lol
It IS very true. Soaking the ground at the base of your plants raises the dew point, thus making it harder to freeze in that area. My grandfather has been doing it for decades in his orchard. But its gonnna be pretty hard for someone like hottbody to go and soak 100+ plots...lol Thats why I gave out the heads up.

fuck i still have 2 and a half weeks until harvest but this plant has been through hell and still is perfect. Its been in the mid 70's most days and the buds are growing incredibly fast
