Question about flowering

Hello. I am starting to plan an outdoor grow. My plan is to create single plant greenhouses. I plan to create airflow from a solar panel as well as run a small tube with a pump to water the plants from a nearby stream. My question is, How can I trigger the plants to flower when they are not in season? I live in florida and it's always sunny and only a few time does it freeze over. Being that the plant is in its own isolated green house, how can i regulate the sun to trigger the flowering. I had an idea that for the veg growth I could double the amount of light the plant receives during the day with a mirror. Then when I want to trigger the flower growth I could put a dark film over the plant and leave the mirror alone. With the film over the plant, the plant will receive less light. In theory I would be regulating the light my self regardless of the season. What are your thoughts?

Re: Question about flowering

Why not just let your plants flower in their own time?? Generally, us outdoor growers do exactly that.

Re: Question about flowering

My plan was to plant now and regulate the plants myself. I know its totally unorthodox. I just want to know if its do-able?

Re: Question about flowering

Ask someone you know (a friend who grows) in your area or google "growing seasons in Florida" or something like that.
