rain, rain go the fuck away!

normally its nice to have a few days of rain for the ol plants to soak up but here in il its been raining absolutly non stop for at least 4 damn days now. usually a nice light rain but a few times a day it gets nuts. how much is too much b4 the poor girls start to drown? we need some sunlight for a change to get the photosynthisis goin again. nothin but clouds and rain for almost a week. its getting depressing.

They arent gonna drown unless they are in a low lying area. Get ready for another 4 or 5 days of it. I am west, southwest of you a few hundred miles. We are getting the first affects of The hurricane this morn. It has already rained here for nearly 2 wks almost every day. Checked some of the girls this morn, no signs of Mold.....yet! But ya they need some SUN!!!!!

Im in the NorthEast and we've been seeing the same thing. Everyday ive been waking up and hoping for some good sun and within the hour the clouds roll in. But just remember that plants live off water. Just like this other guy says you should be fine as long as its not in a low lying area. I got six ladies just a couple of weeks away from being ready cant wait (big bud, white widow x2, blue berry x2 and bubble gum)

man its rained here for the eighth day here its all mother natures plan. sit back and watch it grow. the less you care the better mine turn out, the more i care, the more they die... hahaha wtf is up with that?

I hate the rain, thats why I live in good old Southern Cali where it rains an inch or 2 each year.

im not even that worried about the plants but this rain is just getting depressing. starting to wonder if ill ever see the sun again

. when ever shitty weather is rollin thru and you look at a radar map the chicago area is always right in the middle of the path. ALWAYS no matter what. i sucks livin here.

Well I spoke to soon when I posted earlier. The Mandala Hashberry looked great this morn. But the other patch....

Went and looked at the rest of the ladies a while ago......all of them were on their way to total bullshit! Had to pull all of them most were at least 1/3 moldy some almost the entire plant! Man this really sucks. Oh ya and had to fight the fucking rain while getting them out.

Too much rain and damp, cloudy weather this time of year is pretty scary. As GrtPinsGrower said they won't drown but bud rot is a real problem. Some strains are more resistant to bud rot than others and this is the only time when real big buds are not a good thing. All else being equal, big buds are much more susceptable to mold. Good luck, hope your weather changes for the better.

Man it has been raining so hard i had to move my plants. I almost drowned moving them! Lucky i moved em middle of day or i would of lost em.

It's been non stopp raining for days. I wonder how many more days.

On a diff note. My whole yard has bursted with GREEN!

finally!!! i checked the plants yesterday in the rain and they seemed to be fine but im gonna go back in a little bit now that its bright and sunny and see whats up with them.

When visiting your plants, gently shake the main stalk and shake off any excess water. This will help with stoping bud rot. Also its not unheard of to even cover them during large rain storms with a make shift tent of some sorts, as opposed to allowing them to stay soaked for to many days in a row. Sending positive vibes and hopes of potent nugs for all your girls! Sure hope it dries up soon. IMO Much Love.

Well hurricane Ike chopped my plant last night, chopped it right in half, found it laying on the ground and the stump still there.

Anyone in the Ohio Valley should go check on your ladies. Trees are down fucking everywhere.

As GrtPinsGrower said they won't drown but bud rot is a real problem. Some strains are more resistant to bud rot than others and this is the only time when real big buds are not a good thing. All else being equal, big buds are much more susceptable to mold. Good luck, hope your weather changes for the better.
