Can I start growing My Early Misty?

Hey guys, this will be my first time growing ever and chose the Early Misty seeds because they are supposedly easy to grow. Well anyways i got ten seeds and am planning on growing them about 300 yards from my home near some forest type place (i live in a foresty area in Georgia) in my local neighborhood where no one usually goes.

I am going to first germinate about 3 seeds (growing 3 plants for now) in a germinating pod of soil thing then transplanting that soil ball into a larger pot of soil and painting the pot green so it camoflauges with the trees and bushes and stuff. Ill water em about once a week and give it food and stuff ill find at our local supermarket.

My question is if i start germintating in about a week and actually stick the whole large pot outdoors by mid-august and let it grow. about how long should i need to wait in order to pick out the buds and stuff. maybe mid november im guessing?

also what do i do with males? they dont have buds correct? how would i smoke those males? also about how many weed am i going to expect to come out of these 3 plants?

sorry im such a noob

thanks!

You seem to have a lot to learn about growing pot. Search around the site here a bit and then have yourself a nice grow next year.

ooh will do then. guess ill just hold off for now. but i do have some questions, isnt the fall/winter months have longer nights for flowering? if yes then cant i just plant em now and then the fall months will come after september. this will allow for the plants to veg for about a month before the flowering season starts. thats what i cant find in the guides i read, how long each stage should last.

but is my way generally how to do it? or an easy way to do it?

thanks for the replys!

You def wang them vegging for more than one month. I agree with mattc707. If you take the time to learn everything about outdoor growing now, you will have a beautiful and worth the wait garden next year. Take time to find the right spot, take time to germinate them properly, take time to fence in an area..... Take sufficient time to do all the necessities and this time next year you will be looking at plants bigger than you that are going to yield pounds. It is hard to see that far ahead, but do it. I did the smart thing last year and I literally can not wait any longer for harvest. These things look great.

I'm no expert - but I am into the 3rd month of my 1st outdoor grow - but I think you are wasting your seeds if you start now. I'm guessing you paid decent money for those seeds and that's money down the drain if they aren't given enough time to truly grow. I was 'worried' about it being too late in mid-May. Then I found this site and read and read and read...

hey man
i started my first grow this year. i bought about 25 seeds online and right now i have 5 living plants. if i were you (i was told this numerous times but never actually listened), i would get about 50 bagseeds. Use these as pracice to learn what seedlings and plants like/ dont like. By the end, about 10 of these bagseeds will be alive, along with your 10 good early mistys. I made the mistake of starting with high quality seeds, and most of them died. Also, read up all the info this site gives...and the internet.
