Re: Cloning Outdoor
i would say you most likely can clone out doors but you would need to use some tricks also. Number one i would cut the clones dip them in the gel and throw them into rock wool cubes right away, i dont know if thats readily available to you or not but i dont see why small cups of soil couldnt work. Keep the Cut clones in a dome type structure, to keep it humid due to the fact that the clones dont take root right away and their only way of getting water at this point is primarily through the leaves. After some time, i dont wanna say how long because it probably varies you will see if the plants make it or not. I would definitely do this before flowering though.
Also it might be worth it but only as long as the mother is a female plant, you cannot tell right away either so you have to try your luck, unless you started off with a female clone already then ur good. Sorry if im wrong please correct me if i am. good luck |

Re: Cloning Outdoor
i am able to produce roots of clones froma method i have come up with a few months back. basicly all very normal.
My primary issue now is simply if a plant at havest can be cut for next year and whever or not it will veg again and grow in march. time will tell thanks for the helpfull post though mate and i will try the humid method alongside the normal biodome and gel-water etc etc. think half the problem here is me being crap in my explanation. the posts oover the next few months will show you all what the hell i am up to.

Re: Cloning Outdoor
I try to ignore your attitude but find it hard sometimes. I mean you act as if you know ALL and others are just noobs that you're glad to demolish. How hard is it to say, instead of putting a paper bag you can use a magnifying glass x30 to look at the internodes for preflowers. C'mon man. And by the way, you were banned too right? Hahaha. And I noticed you often get pissed off with people (Underpantsman, Greenmeany etc...). So chill out. You're sending bad vibes out. Whatever knowledge you know is good to be shared but please stop waiting for people to beg for it or sending them to the search bar. Especially in this case you admitted that you weren't an indoors guy. OMG Cantharis doesn't know ALL. Anyway, you aren't a teacher and others with lower post counts your students IMO. We're just all sharing grow experiences and knowledge. Growing and smoking is rather fun for me and I don't make such a big deal about it. I'll avoid quoting and writing to you. You do your thing. Peace.

Re: Cloning Outdoor
Compact Flourecent Lightbulb. you know, the swirlie ones? you can also use small flourecents. even something like a 15 watt would do for getting clones to start. and cantharis, the only thing i remember about genetics is gregor mendels pea pod experiments with dominant and recessive alleles. i imagine you could find some info on ther net about it. not sure about on the city though.
