indoor vegging to outdoor flowering?

i currently have 3 bubblegum and 3 shiva skunk clones purchased from an cannabis club that have vegged indoors under 24hr light for three weeks. i was wondering if i could induce flowering by putting the plants outside, does anyone know? i am growing in northern california and i know the recomended light schedule for flowering is 12/12, but the days are about 14/10 and getting shorter, will they still flower?
