Wildfires in Cali

The smoke is thick here (not just the good smoke!). We have had about three solid days of thick smoke blocking the sun like a fog, and a few days before that of partial blockage - mostly haze with periods of sun. The forecast is calling for more lightning which means more fire this weekend.

Was wondering if anybody has experienced these type of conditions while growing. I'm not freakin out or anything, just curous. My girls look healthy, but have not had major growth lately.

Poor air quality + week(s?) of hazy at best sunlight = sad dad

I know this is getting ridiculous. All these fires and the sky being hazy for multiple days now just pisses me off. Its suppose to start clearing up though. Says the weather forecast

The Earth is getting very angry. Here in Hawaii some of the dormant volcanoes and vents are awakening, and the lava is causing forest fires.

Crazy. Good thing they weren't doing that when i was there last summer. I would have been so scared the whole time thinking there was gonna be some massive volcano eruption and everyone was gonna die

Yah, I'm up in northern Cal also. Doing legal 215 and the spot I'm renting is VERY CLOSE to where my place is. I'm thinking this is my biggest grow yet and the worste possible summer for fires I can remember in 25 yrs...YIKES!!

Its a new look for the summer..."Post-ApocalyptiCalifornia".

5 days in a row now, the sun is shining, but we can't see it. All the smoke is making it look as if the sun is setting all day long, if it pops through the haze, it is like a weird red-orange glowstick, not like real sunshine.

Definitely a bummer for the girls outside. I just hope the reduced light doesn't induce premature flowering! These are the days of the long light!

I need some indoor smoke, excuse me.

man, this is some bad news, i feel for you guys. but there is ONE upside to this... kinda... if you have a patch of flowering plants, and they catch fire, all u need to do is pull up a lawn chair, and breeeaatthheeee. i doubt that would work, but wouldnt it be cool? not worth the loss of the crop tho

the sky has been pretty hazy here too. not much new growth recently, and two of the three are starting to stretch a little. i want the sun back! the heat wave was very very nice!
