First Grow to Start ASAP -- Need Help!

Alright here's the deal. My buddy just moved into his new farm house and we have plenty of room to grow outdoors, with the huge fields that he owns. We can definetely section off some room on the sides, and perfectly hide it. We decided that we would like to attempt at a grow for this summer still, and have a bag of collected seed's just waiting for the time like this. So i have a few questions as to what to do overall.

First things first, I was wondering if I will even have enough time for these plants to flower/bud? I live in souther Wisconsin and the weather is decent until late September.

Next, I am a completely newbie as to growing. I don't know how to start, and would like some helpful advice as to what to do. I plan to start a journal so people can help me as I go step by step but this is just the beginning.

Thank you all and I would appriciate any, and all help i can get!

Thanks Sallyboy, but thats my problem, i dont have the setup so i cant bring them up to date by myself. I was just planning on germ, then small pots, then plant in ground. Like I said though, this is very new to me so I dont know whats proper here. I've researched LST, and Scrog but its all so much, I just need someone to tell me straight up what to do. I take directions well.

I am no "EXPERT" but I learned to "JUST START THEM"..NOW!!!...however possible..flourescents..or germinate in towels and put them in thier plots A.S.A.P..

It's Funny because I just got the book "The Best of Ask ED" from High Times..and this exact topic was in alot of the text...I read a couple letters he printed and one guy had "Just germinated" and it was late July and "ED" said it still was not too late to start them outside and reap a good harvest (I would have thought that was way too late).

The guy asking was located in the midwestern U.S. if I recall cause I remember checking "Where" in the hemisphere this grower was from to be able and start so late...?

Hope that helps

Alright so i just started germ. this very instant on 15 bag seeds. What would someone recommend I do next? Place them in small pots with good soil? Or just dig whole's at the spot already and go straight for the grow?

Link for germination...

I'm doing an outdoors grow as well, and I'm planning on putting them in small cups until they sprout, then place them outdoors.

Hope this helps!

I dont got lights though, so should I just put the germinated seed's in and just keep them outside in the sunlight during the day until they sprout?

If that's all you have, then I don't see anything wrong with that...I'm new also, so can someone confirm this?

do not start them in pots, they will slow when you transplant them. dig up your soil and turn it over, the top 12 inches. throw in a bag of top soil some leaves maybe to loosen it up, a couple handfuls of lime and fertilizer, make sure it has plenty of sun. and water it every day, just once, (if it doesn't rain). then you have to worry about the slugs, once they come up, that is your first danger. you will likely need slug pellets. and throw in dozens of seeds if they are bagseed. (except don't get caught cause likely your state goes by # of plants,(but not even close to danger time yet) thin them out as they get going.

Id start them in party cups, peat pots or another small growing container. its easier to water appropriately, move, deal with etc when the pots are small. use a mostly peat based soil with some perilite. I havbe seen some of the best soil grows with just Promix.

wait till the tap root is kind long then put them taproot down just benath the surface that way it can pop through quickly.

15 bagseeds isnt much to work with. bagseed inherently germinate less often and have weaker genes. out of 15 bagseeds on a first grow I wouldnt expect more then 3-4 mature fems come harvest.

I would buy some cheap fem seeds from doctor chronic. they ship to us safely and have a bunch of cheap fem seeds. Cheese by greenhouse is 55.00 US for 10 fem. I germed 30/30 with them..... thing of beauty.... seeds came in 4 days from order too

good genes make a huge diff

theyll grow faster and hardier, will produce more and will have better bud.... all for 50 bucks
