2nd outdoor attempt.

heyy all!

I just wanted some advice.I am germinating my seeds in water right now.
They are probably at their 20ith or so hour in the water as of now.

I took one of the seeds that i had soaking since yesterday that was cracked and ready to go and placed it in some soil. (just some soil i dug up from outside).

Now I just did this to see if it would sprout....
but my plan is to take the seeds and put them in soil into 5 oz. dixie cups until they sprout and then transplant them to a bigger cup or maybe just to outside.

Now should i use potting soil or is the dirt outside okay?
I have a location ready and everything...

And should I Use nutrients or anything?
If so what do I get?

Good quality potting soil would work better than the soil outside. If you have the money and a gardening store near by Fox Farms soil is supposed to be the best. I'm using Miracle Grow seed starter soil for my plants until they are ready to be transplanted into the ground. You don't have to start any nutrients until they are at least 3 weeks old.

Yeah im going to go to the store tomorrow and pick up some soil then get these things in the cups.
Now should i keep them inside until they sprout and get a little bigger?
and do they need sunlight within the first couple days of putting in my cups?

I got the soil and have the seedlings in 3 oz. dixie cups for right now.
I am putting them under a light for 2 hours today.
Then ill do about 4 tommorrow.

Does it seem like im doing right?

Why only 3oz cups?? They're gonna run out of room for roots pretty quick. Most people plant in 12oz solo cups and leave them in that for 2-3 maybe 4 weeks. Also, roots like darkness, dixie cups being kinda opaque, you might wanna tape it up or something.

2 hours of light?? You want 24/7 light/as much as possible especially the first 2 weeks or so. I'd say 18 hrs at minimum. And what exactly is 'a light', hopefully not an incandescent bulb...They dont necessarily need sunlight but light, also you might wanna throw like a sandwich bag over them to maximize humidity. And I would definitely keep them indoors under as much light as possible until they have a couple sets of leaves, being small is dangerous as far as bugs/animals/bad weather goes.

Be careful with your location the cops just found my little guys because some fucker on a quad rode out 3 miles into some old retired farmers land and found my plants and called the cops.

My plants have three sets of leaves now.
Im going to borrow a freinds camera so i can take some pics...
Im thinking about just leaqving them in the sun now becausethe days are long and my plants are getting about 12-14 hours of light a day.

I put cfls on the plants at night so i can get them to be nice and strong before they go outside...
Should I Just give them this sunlight or keep lights on them?

Thats fucking gay... i dont know what sort of sad bastard person would do such a thing!! i mean if i stumbled across a plot id jus wait till itmatures an harvest a bit for maself, im pretty sure the people growin it wouldnt mind i mean i could take it all or call the police or sumet... But i do feel for ya if my mates plants get found, i may be likely to cry haha
