Help Help Help my babies!!!!

So I've been growing these two bagseed plants for a while now and one is LST, but i have run into a problem, may be serious? First off, the plant in LST got a little beaten from a thunderstorm and one of the leaves is torn, is it ok to just cut off the torn part of the leaf, like the front half? and second, is it ok that some of the lower leaves of the plant are resting on the soil due to the plant being bent over from LST, mold etc. Second, the other plant not in LST, got attacked my some bugs a while back, i used ortho and never had another problem until recently now the new sets of leaves have a browning on the ridges of them, and some of the other new leaves are dying, i don't know why and i am very concerned, please help, could it be from the heavy rain we have had recently, to much water?

PS. on the LST plant those arn't bugs, its just a little dirt from the past storm
Sorry for the poor quality on the close ups, but you can still see the yellow ridges on the new leaves, that even happened on the new growths at each node. could it be from the holes from the bugs? nute deficiency

Please reply anyone

Ive read somewhere that when the leaves are sitting on the soil it can cause mold but Ive never had first hand experience with this.

Your plants look absolutely fine man. I dont know what youre so worried about. Theyre outdoors, theyll get beat up a bit, just relax and let them grow. And dont use Ortho anymore, search around for a good homemade pesticide recipe.

I agree with him. It looks like you have some nice plants but I am honestly worried about the leaves touching soil, there are many diseases it can cause in a lot of other plants I grow especially tomatoes. Not sure about herb but it might be a good Idea to put a stake & tie those leaves to it so they don't touch the soil. Also try to keep dirt off the leaves...
