sprinkle ferts on soil?
my plants are in a very difficult place to get to and are watered by the rain most of the time, so i was wondering if i could just sprinkle a tiny tiny bit of ferts on top of the soil, and that way the rain water would bring in the nutes.

Well, I think it really depends on what kind of ferts you are using. I recently purchased some ferts for my crop this year that you sprinkle on and they look like little balls. You could use stuff like miracle grow in the same way i would imagine just really make sure that it is not time release. Usually it will tell you on your fertilizer container whether you can or not.
