Just looking for suggestions

I am a first timer doing this with my first plant. It is outdoors, roughly 4 weeks old. I just starting the sexing process yesterday. I have some nice close up pictures and I was wondering if anyone with any experience could tell if this is a male or a female. I think it's too early to tell though. These pictures are from Tuesday when I started the sexing process. I'll update with more pictures soon.

Any other suggestions or info would be great. Thanks.

Untill August!!.

Man to me it looks female but if you where to wait mabey a week or 2 you will be able to tell without a shadow of a doubt.

If you wait untill august your males will pollenate the females.

The nodes arent even alternating, there is absolutely nothing to indicate sex. Plants dont begin sexing until they get closer to 12 hours of daylight. June has the longest days of the year, and they are increasing until the 21st. besides, they wont start flowering until the second or third week of August, you have at least two weeks to pull them out before the pollen sacks burst.

I should reprhrase that. Around here (Michigan), in my experiance, if grown from seed, completely outdoors, plants dont show sex until the end of July. I assumed smokyo was in the same climate based on the vegetation around the plants. It may not take his plant as long, but I can tell you for certainty that it will not be showing sex in a week or two.

Hey hooksters, I have had my plants veging for like 3 weeks fully outdoors and they have all been sexed. But i suppose its to each his own. I am almost posetive that its a female but like i say if you really want to wait a couple of weeks you could.

I live in Northern NJ. I started growing the plant around the first week of May. I started forcing 12/12 last Tuesday by covering the plant with black plastic bags with holes for ventilation. Here are some pictures I just took 06-09-08 6PM. I cover the plant at 8pm and uncover it at 8am every day since Tuesday.

Well thats a different story then. It should be sexed within a week or two. No sign of anything yet though.

The tips of my top leaves are starting to turn a yellowish color. I'm not sure what the problem could be. I haven't used any fertilizers, pesticides, or anything other than the potting soil and water to grow it. The plant is 2 feet tall and I've had it on a 12/12 light schedule for exactly a week now. Here is a picture I took of the leaves, any suggestions on how to correct this situation?

too early to tell sex.
you will see pistils coming out of those hair-like things or you will see balls around them.
just keep waiting and checking
