ok so i went back to my spot today a week later (kinda forgot about it for a while) and i come back to some really really bad bug damage. i don't know if its caterpillars or slugs but they left poop on the leafs i hope someone can identify it.

im going to get a shitload of salt and dump it around my plants for the slugs.

heres some pictures, any comments or feedback is appreciated

wow this is so cool... I noticed that this is from 2006, were your plants a success? If they were, were the pesticides effective? How did you make them?

thanks cupcheck, but i noticed that since i didnt go back for a week the bigger plant just kinda grew upward and it took the hooks out with it LOL they're dangling from the plant ahha. i don't know weather to try to lst it more or let it grow. the other one is staying low with LST.

can someone asnwer me this- If i do decide to Put more hooks on my plants do i have to make them longer so the leafs of the plant dont touch the dirt? could i cut the leafs that do touch the dirt? i've heard of mold from that.

please comment !

EDIT- and can anyone identify the poop??? i need to kill those mother fuckers

I don't grow but I do my research, and I kknow that putting copper pennies around the bottom of your stem this will keep the snails off.

Pennies havent been made of copper for like 50 years. You can get a 8oz bottle of Dyna-Grow Neem oil for like $10, it will last you until the end of next season most likely.

real update

Alright heres the plants as of this day.. they are looking good in my opinion

i can't wait to find out if one is female so i can look forward to some buddd

THe salt did the trick for getting rid of the slug problem. now mostly healthy green leaves not eaten up ones

so far i spent 10 dollars on pots and im pretty happy with my progress : )

I have my 2 main plants that were originally LST, but one grew out of it. and the other one is hard to maintain because i can't go back there every day.. but you can see that its sort of LST.

any comments are appreciated

updated plot

so i added 4 more plants to my spot, now i have a small plantation to look over

heres what they look like, one is really big and bushy and some are just tall with no branches

THe last picture is the one that is LST. I switched over to using string because it holds better and rust wont form on it like the clotheshangers. I have a question for someone though, if the string is tight around the stem will it restrict growth at all..?
just something that popped into my head.
