watering needs?

ay bro i got 5 plants that all just sprouted about a week ago..question is how long til i gotta water em..the soil looks pretty moist and the plants look very healthy im just afraid that i will overwater them or not givem enuf..answers?

they are gettin plenty of light everyday im in atl so it be hot as hell wit lota sun..ive watered em a couple of times but as i said..soil is damp

Well you havnt left us with a lot of info, but you wait to water them again until the top soil dries out. You can either remember the weight of the container both dry and wet, or you can stick your finger down into the soil gently and see if its still damp before watering again.

yeah the top of the soil looks dry but then when u put ur finger in it, the soil is moist but another question..the plants r in pots and there r dumbass ants building ant hills around the bottom of the pot..is that ok? or should i move em?
