Hottbody's 2008 Outdoor Summer Grow!

Hey Everyone -

Hottbody is back at The Grass City Forums for the summer months with my New Outdoor Grow Journal for 2008.… I have just started this years Grow & Grow journal thread. This thread is titled --> Hottbody's 2008 Outdoor Summer Grow -- Much the same as my 2007 summer’s grow, I have not started this years grow as well as I wanted! Meaning it is --> Way to fast pace, a crazy work load, out of control planning, & a huge lack of organization on my part! I hope I still get OK results, but only time will tell.

Here we go! But First --> Let’s review Hottbody’s 2007 Summer Grow.

NOW BACK TO MY 2008 SUMMER GROW!!!!
On Tuesday May 6th 2008 I pushed 190 seeds in to warm, wet, loose soil. Then 2 days later I passed the seed trays off to a friend to care for while I was traveling for 2 weeks. (I traveled from Maine to Chico Calif & then onto Las Vegas NV! I had a blast/wonderful time in both of these cool places!) My plant sitter friend/caretaker is also a MJ grower like me but this year she is not growing because she is pregnant & due in late August. So anyway -- I now have my seedlings underway & growing! ( I’m also getting 8 or 10 clones from another grow friend of mine so life is good!!) See the photos below of the seeds that have popped....

I was tuned into your 2007 grow up until your last post. Hope to see this goes as planned for you. My outdoor grow has been well into 6 weeks veg. now. My location allows me to start fairly early spring.

cool outdoor grow! i like the idea of a roof except for helicopters. I live a densly populated area so that wouldnt really go too well

I really enjoyed your threads your grow is great n think your cool you got the right idea .I went to morroco a few years ago when I was 25 went up to the riff valley in the mountains anyway to cut a long story short we got stuck an our guide dissapeared for the night leaving us stranded in this tiny village really poor people but very welcoming we sat round this open fire drinking jd and tea with this old guy smokin some high grade hash on a clay pipe he said to me something in french that night I will never forget about money being the wings of a bird and even though it seemed like he was free in a modern world you cannot really travel an fulfill your dreams unless you have got it ,he was chatin about hash being like gold but id gone white by that point an almost passed out , even soo this advice has stuck with me an I have had some good crops in the last few years your grow and posts inspire me more an ive planted up 101 seeds here in the England just 2 weeks ago and they look to be in the same stage as your babys im hoping we have some good weather its been really fine this week but rain is always likely here, suppose the upside is never having to water got some pictures to come soon anyway good luck im looking forward to your posts

I didn't find any pics of the final product for your 2007 grow, any chance you have them? I'm very curious to see the yield of all those plants grown outdoors.

Hey Purple Trees -- My final dry/cure weight of last summers grow was just under 225oz.

Hey Marygoround -

At the end of harvest last year my life was very overwhelming to say the least.... After 3 long weeks of harvest work I then had to pack up my life and move from Maine to Colorado..... So what I am saying is that taking pictures was something that did not get done. My final dry/cure weight of last summers grow was just under 225oz.

Hey Purple Trees -

The roof of my house is where I start my plants.... They get moved out into the woods of Maine when they are about 10cm tall. So they are only on the roof for a 2-3 weeks total.....
