Im not sure if thats how you spell it but my granny says this is the year there coming out . I know they eat alot of vegatation and shit but is there a way to protect from them.

Yes the Cicada is how you spell it. Kinda like the locust i think. From what i hear there is nothing you can do. But i would just get lots of organic bug killer and spray it all over the plants if you hear anything about them coming this year

seriously all i gotta say is get some tomato pesticide ( you can consume it )
