In a tree

Hey all, this will be my first post. I started with 3 plants but thought they died from the cold weather so started again. I will be keeping up on a journal. I am trying a new grow method out. Let me know if anyone has ever done it. I found a tree with deep holes in it. i filled them with water. Then filled it with some grade A potting soil. Right now they are on there second branching and it has been 2 weeks since I planted. Havent had to water them since. I recently found my other three plants AFTER FROST!!!. They are bigger. But they are in holes in trees filled with soil. Ill repost in a week. Possibly with some pictures.

I've heard of people putting pots in the upper branches of trees, but never in holes in trees. Keep us updated.
