ground soil.
will it horribly effect my grow if i use purely the soil found at the site? from what i have seen it looks decent. nice dark color and seems to hold moisture well.

It depends on your region. Try to stay away from pine trees, as they make the soil overly acidic.

i wouldn't do it cause it could cause some major problems. its just not worth taking the chance if you don't have to. i dont know how much you would be willing to spend but you should at least get one bag of good soil to at least get them on a good start. also it could be more than one bag if you have a crap load of plants. look into finding fox farms soil they will give you a much better yield than just regular soil
