I don't use anything to mask it. Sometimes late in the season in the morning, when it's damp and the wind is right it stinks something awful.

You could plant herbs around it. Rosemary, Basil, Chives..etc, that will help a little. One old school trick is to hang bars of soap near, but alot of people (read:cops) know about that one, and if someone sees a bunch of bars of soap hanging around in the trees, it could be a dead give away. You could try some Ona http://www.htgsupply.com/viewproduct...roductID=46161 . I have a can, it's pretty strong smelling. You could just drill a few small holes in the lid and it will last a while.

In the summer, odor may not be too big a problem. The immediate area may smell, but with all the other plants that are in bloom, the smell is going to fade out pretty fast as you move away. In winter, when not too many other plants are blooming, odor can be a BIG problem when growing indoors.
