State parks good idea?

I live in Wisconsin so IDK if any Wisconsinites have experience with growing in state parks but if you have a GPS and just wander a long ways off a path or something and plant random patches of 3 plants or so do you think there is a good chance of some making it?

I live in Connecticut so I do not know Wisconsin so well. I imagine it would be fine though. I intended on doing that in CT this year till I found an even better site. Bottom line you don't want your site ever being seen. Rather it be your own field, someone else's property or a state park, all give me the same result. I don't get to harvest. Do it somewhere you think no body will everrrr stumble upon and don't tie yourself up on who owns the land or doesn't. Make sense?

the problem with a state park is that there are park rangers, and depending on the park size, these rangers will keep pretty good tabs on whats goin on.

But back to what was just said, if you find a good spot don't bother yourself about who owns the land. I've heard of plenty of successful grows on park property.

I agree about the park rangers. As a matter of fact, that should be step one. You need to get a good grasp on how active they are and how much ground they cover. Once you feel secure that the rangers are not a threat, then continue your search for a good spot.

That is exactly what Im planning on doing over here in Mich, but where Im going to grow is probably at least a 5000 square mile national forest most of which is rarely visited by anyone.

State Parks, State Gamelands all good places imo. Its our land right? The only places I try to avoid are other people's property, I couldnt bear the guilt if I got somebody placed in jail over my plants. Bad Karma for sure.

Just keep in mind if for some reason they caught you growing in a park you will most likely get a harsher sentence, maybe even federal charges. Keep them in small patches over a few locations.
