I live in MA and I'm kinda scared of frost even though the last frost date is supposed to be today. For now I have a couple little seeds started in cups and I've been putting them outside in the sun and bringing them in at night...is this ok???

Also, once I put a germed seed in the soil...how long should I wait for it to sprout out of the ground???

What you are doing is great, keep taking them out every day until you feel comfortable enough with your weather to transplant. They will already be used to the outside, that's good.

A germed seed with taproot showing usually takes 48 hours on average to sprout I'd guess. It could take longer and it could happen sooner too, depends on conditions.

Awesome. Thanks for the positive reinforcements. I'm really hoping to turn out some nice buds this year. Never done the growing thing before. Should be nice if it works out. Unfortunately I gotta wait until October to harvest, but by then I should have lots of buds.
