grow plants outdoors in pots or not?

Im trying to decide whats better...growing outside in pots or digging a hole, adding topsoil and planting them directly into the ground.

If they are planted directly into the ground there would be unlimited amount for root growth therefore the plants can become way bigger (from my experience)

or if i put them in pots outside I can have them grow in a better soil of my choice (but i would have to water them more often i think)

Im aware that if i plant them in the ground I need an area with good soil and i usually dig a hole then fill it up with top soil anyways but if i can use anything else to help for soil then please feel free to tell me hehe

Ive found that it works realy good if you start off your seeds in pots with good soil, and then transplant them into the ground after they have sprouted.

The pots help alot in the earliest growth stages, and once its big enough you can fill up a big hole outside with potting soil and transplant your weed their.

yea try and have them grow a few nodes in the pots then move them into the ground..the ground is much better and natural and i believe is alot better..

your best bet is to do a bucket or grow bag with large openings cut in the bottom so you can have the plant a in a organic nutrient rich soil mix you make up so all they need is water for the most part. Then when they outgrow the pot the roots can surpass the container through the enlarged drainage holes and into the native soil.
