Obviously outside?
If you cover them with a tarp that should help keep in warmth.

Anytime man, cover em up. Thats all you can do that I know of. Praying might help too. However as long as it does not go much below 50 I would think they live.

I'd suggest getting 4 chopsticks, bamboo skewers or just some clean sticks to stick about 5 inches above the top of the plants, then wrapping the sticks with Saran wrap and covering the top with saran wrap. If you're covering the top of the plants, they can't get light and that could either stress them or kill them so be careful about that. If you live in a rural area, and you've got a dryer vent, you can keep them by that and run your dryer to pump warm air out there (my friends and I used to stand near a dryer vent while waiting for the bus).

The styro cups seem like a good idea as long as you take them off first thing in the morning.

Let us know how you make out.
