How long does it tajke on average for a plant to grow outdoors?
And can you force it to flower early?

An average plant , at least in the NorthEast USA, should be planted right about now in April, and will be done flowering late September to Mid October.

You can find strains that may fit your needs better for flowering earlier , although there are methods to trick your plant to flower outside. These techniques are often complex and time consuming, ex. Covering your plant at 12 hours of dunlight each and every day without missing a single day.

I would not prefer it. It is best to let nature do its' thing.

My plants take from May to the last week in October. Some years I need to cover them the last couple of weeks if it goes bellow zero or snows. Pay attention to the weather. If you get an indian summer you can leave them out for an extra week to bulk up the buds.
