30-10-10

Hey guys, quick fert question:

I am in early vegatative growth with my outdoor fem. Magic Bud from Paradise Seeds. It probably still is a little too early by my standards to start the ferts, but I was wondering a quickie about something I found in my garage.

I found a mixture for 30-10-10 which seems to be absolutely ideal for the veg. part of my grow. However, it says on the box that it is for all acid loving plants, and then goes on to list a few. MArijuana is not on the list, haha.

Either way, I believe it is the same stuff I used last year, but I just wanted to check back in with you guys before I made a careless error early in my grow.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks for the prompt response. Yes, it is Miracle Grow brand just like yours. My soil is Miracle Grow brand as well. I have heard some (B.S) rumors that MG soil and ferts are designed to kill MJ plants. This is completely untrue. They are the best products I have used, although I have heard great things about Fox Farms. I will be feeding them with this fert then today and expect the same results as last year!

MG soil is not specifically designed to kill MJ.. it just kills seedlings because of all the time release fertilizers that are in it.
MG ferts are fine. 30-10-10 chemical ferts are the same regardless of brand

Yes, I agree AugustWest. I was just saying that I have heard a lot about some CIA conspiracies and other garbage and indicating not to believe everything you hear.

Miracle Grow soil is fine man. A lot of people give people flack for using it. I dont understand it really. The only miracle grow soil I would avoid is the stuff that says "feeds for 9 months" because it feeds nitrogen to the plant for 9 months and you dont want much nitrogen when flowering.

When you start giving your plants the fertilizer, give them a weak dose and work your way up and pay attention to the plant's response to it.

Good Luck
