Outdoor Grow Questions

Okay, so my first outdoor grow is coming up, and I figured I'd ask some questions, ect.

So, tomorrow (April 25th) I will be planting 10-20 seeds in a forest area. I will keep them in solo cups for 2-3 weeks, depending on how fast they grow, then transplant them to the ground. The same day, I will tie down the main stalk, and run it around the hole that it's growing in.

Today, however is a bit of an important day as well, since I am bringing the cups, and soil to the site. I will also be digging the 10 holes to begin with. After the plant is about 3', I will remove the cage that I made for them, since they SHOULD be strong enough to handle small critters.(that's what the cage was for)

Also, as to not fuck this grow up, I am going to get small lunch sized paper bags, spray-paint them black, and put them on the 3rd set of leaves, once maturity is reached.

There are alot of variables though, like the unknown strain. I've never grown out any of these seeds, I just know they were fucking incredible. And, I've never grown outdoors before, so I don't know how fast they will grow a week, month, ect. PLUS What if my fishing line, and cages don't work, and they all get eaten over the night..

Once the 2-3 weeks is over, and transplantation has taken place, I will break the stalk, and make a circle around the hole, when it's the whole way around, I will allow the second branches to grow, at which time, maturity will probably be hit, so I will put the paper bags on for 3-6 days, and cut males early..(marking females first, as to not pull them, too)

Questions..
1: How much height will the plants get(average)
2: What is a sure-fire way of getting rid of all the small, and not so small threats to the garden(animals)
3: Do you think 1.5-3 oz/Top is too much to hope for?( I plan on 15-20 tops/plant)

Any questions, advice, suggestions, whatever are more than welcome. I need to get my plans down, so I don't have to think about it any more lol.. thanks, peace

ur plants will range any6where from 15 inches to 9 feet, tho 9 feet is uber rare lol ull prolly have plants 2-4 feet tall, as for animals, i personaly set out 2 litters half burried in the ground with the top sticking out in like a circle around my patch and piss in them any time i go back there, its allota stop and go but i have the strength also i sprinkled human hair around the base of my plants and then gave my plants a light spray of pepper juice, tho i have to be extra cautious cuz my patch is right next to a water source where animals like to drink,and i got fish under my plants, the very next day after planting i found like 8 different deer tracks that came dammn near close to even stepping on my plants so ya maby this helps.

Scratch the original planting date, there is a cold front coming..

I thought of the hair thing but what if it's found, and they do some sort of dna matching bullshit?

Thanks for the info on height, and all the useful information. So everything should go swimmingly? I figured the height at about 3-4', but with outdoors, I didn't know..

Does anyone have a system of weight estimation, as I do? I figure, if you know the height, then it's a pretty good estimate. Figure 1x1" of bud would be about 1.5-2g, and go from there.

ANOTHER question..
I've heard that outdoors, usually the majority of the stalk is covered with the main cola? So it should be about 2.5' in length, and about 3-5" wide.. so, do the math, and it's about 4-5oz/top.. maybe I'm way off, but that's my experience.

How come you would put paper bags on the 3rd set of leaves? just curious

the top colas will prbly be between 5 and 12 inches long if theres one, if there are several they could be as small as 2-3 inches sorry to inform you but a good average for an outdoors plant is around 3 to 4 oz

I am going to do the whole leaf-covering thing to show sex on that branch early so no pollination occurs.

As for the weight, I figured I was off by a margin.

I'm going to be planting (for real this time) 10 plants, 5 in 2 areas. So about.. 4-6 females..

Anyway, I'll probably start a journal, taking pictures every 2 weeks, so if you feel up to it, you could always give me some tips 'n' whatnot.
