Neem Oil and fertilizer?

Hey all, If I am going to be putting neem oil on my plants and fertilizing them, how should i go about it? I am thinking i will go on ahead and water the plants with the diluted fertilizer, and than spray the leaves with the neem oil as well as the soil on the ground with the neem oil as well. Does this sound like a good idea and will this work to prevent my plants from being attacked by insects and spiders? Thanks all!

Thats how I apply neem oil too, I spray my plants and the other native plants in the immediate area, not so much the ground but I dont think that would hurt any. I use "Einstein Oil", its a little more expensive but it stops the bugs from molting(re-producing) and after awhile you will see very little insects around your plants. Make sure you spray the neem on the bottoms of the leaves too, the spider mites and other insects like to hang out there during the day when the sun is out and its hot.

As for fertilizer yeah just water them with it diluted down, maybe start at a quarter of what the package reccomends and work your way up paying attention to how the plant responds to it. I use Bat Guano or seabird guano as a top dressing as well during flowering, just sprinkle it on top of the dirt and every time the plant recieves water it will get a shot of that bud juice!

Good Luck my man!

haha thanks man, sounds good... i just got my fertilizer today from this jack's fertilizer... 20-20-20 and 10-30-20 for veg. and flowering respectivley, which i will be using once either every week or every other week. I plan on using it at quarter strentgh and than working my way stronger depending on how my ladies like it. But anyways, hope my plants stay away from harm's way with the neem oil, and hopefully they get big as helll... i have 8 ppp 7 durban poison and 6 hollands hoop... theres two sites.. an A site and a B site... the A site with the best 4 of each and the B site with the remaining... hopefully all will work out... if i get a plug for my camera i will add some pics.

thanks

Awesome man, those Durbans should get nice and big for you. Holland's Hope is also a good Outdoor strain, good luck.

neem oil is fine to mix with your fertilizer, as a foliar spray and/or mixing it in with your water. i used it on my indoor grow and it worked wonders.
