Indoor mother transplanted outdoors?

I have a mother plant in a large indoor pot thats been in vegetative growth since January. I have it indoors in a stealth box now, watering with distilled and purified water with nutes every 3 days in organic soil. Cloning isnt working with great results, so since this is already near 2 foot tall I figured throw it outside all summer and see what happens. Ive transplanted small plants outdoors, including trees floweres bushes and MJ. I guess y concern is will i shock this mother too much going from a steady 18/6 so the natural light cycle that starts in early may?
