I'm sorry to be "that guy" but couldn't you use something other than a car battery? I think that'll be horrible for the environment.

Buckets work well for carrying water.A little easier to run with a bucket, than to have to pick up your whole rig and boogie. Not saying you will have to, but always something to think about when growing in the bush.
Peace

no. not at all. Not olny would it be impossible to run with a an electric rig and a car battery, it would also be impossible to run with (a) full bucket(s), and it would be extremely hard to run with an empty bucket. you would get caught. If someone saw you and you had to run, just drop everything, because they obviously already know theres plants there.

pond water will work great, i have used it with fantastic results. it is slightly acidic, but contains many trace elements vital to your plants health. just make sure the pond is at least 30 ft in diameter so it's not too stagnant, and try to scoop your water from deeper water. and don't knock shit you havn't tried, i'm sick of ppl assumeing that pond water is bad because it often looks gross, and sometimes you have to step in it, it's worth manning up for a pound of weed right?

To stay out of jail I would run with an elephant on my head, if that is what it took.

Yeah, pond water does work good, like skoink said, a little acidic.Alot of organic fertilizer is seaweed based, gee I wonder where that comes from?Try carrying enuff water for just 20 plants, a pond nearby is a blessing, just gotta 'man-up' if you are gonna do something right.

Don't assume I haven't tried pond water. Pond water CAN work great. It can also fuck some shit up with a quickness. A pond can be full of all kinds of contaminates. "slightly acidic?" Fuckin great dude, thats the one thing you don't want. Telling newbs its ok to use pond water without talking about how to check the ph etc. is bad news.

I believe a tsp of bleach in a gallon of water kills all micro organisms therefore making it okay to drink. Will that work on a plant?

something you could do is purchase a giant plastic water jug that holds like 130 gallons an buy a camoflauge tarp to put over it/inside it...then every rainfall it will collect rain. A better idea would be something with more surface area so it could catch more rain..such as a cheap plastic toddler pool.....

OK, So where is the pond? Do you have to hike into the bush to get to it?

If you do a car battery and pump will be very heavy. A 12 volt high current pump will be expensive too and the battery will have to be a deep cycle type, also tres $$$'s I think carrying water would be just as easy in buckets.

If you can drive to the pond and park next to it???? You could use a 12 V inverter and 120 VAC pump connected to a length of garden hose. Everything could go in the trunk for easy transport.

Just a thought.

it's not the micro organisms that will kill your plant, there are thousands of different species of them that are covering your plant at all times. it would be the chemical balances, don't use bleach it will proboably kill your plant, and i guess i was wrong, only about 95% of ponds work, use this as a rule of thumb, if the pond is less than 85% covered in growth it will work, i have done all 6 of my grows on seperate ponds and i have yet to run into any problems. just be sure to check the PH of the water and add a basic solution as necessary and be sure to scoop your water from a spot that is at least a foot and a half deep, this way there will be less sedement in your water. explain this pond, and i'll tell you if it's good.
