I'm in the north east and its the first day of spring. I have been going at if for the whole winter and no clones haved rooted. I able to keep my mothers alive but need help to get clones started. I thinking the seasons has alot to do with it. Can I get some advice.

well if you havnt planted them yet you should put the clone in a cup a warm water and after a few days a root will pop out from the end

How many clones are you trying to root up? I've never done more than 2 clones at a time, but I have 100% success rate if you're only looking to get 3 or 4 clones out of it. Take your cutting and stick it in the gel (or powder or whatever you use), I used a rapid rooter plug and I stick the prospective clone as deep as possible. Then, I took that bad boy and stuck it in a clear plastic (glass will work) cup and put plastic wrap over the top. I kept it under light 24 hours a day and kept the plug moist. The moisture from the plug will keep the humidity correct and the light, along with the "greenhouse effect" will keep it warm enough. If you're looking for 15+ clones, not so efficient. But I've had 100% success with this, and the longest I've had to wait is 9 days.
