So you drill your hole in the tree which breaks the xylem vessels, they weep into the soil that you put in the hole and the roots get their water from there? And the xylem vessels never heal themselves and stop weeping?

Marijuana and hops can be grafted; some growers also graft a nice quality plant onto the larger root system from a hydro plant. ie; kill the hydro plant by cutting the plant off on the main stem, and take your old plant which you've also cut down, splint it to the stem from the hydro plant = nice strain on a large root system.. I've heard it works but it's not very common.

This tree technique is not grafting at all. If anyone can find proof that it works, that'd be awesome. Same as amsterdamage, all I could find was this thread.

Note: I know an old hippie, and his advice is retarded.. He just talks to talk and 90% of what he says is crap. Like 48 hours of light and 48 hours of dark instead of 12/12 for flowering. Wtf, yo.
