this is my first grow and im limited togrowing outdoors becouse of my parents. i was going to let my seedlings grow pretty good them transplsnt them outdoors. plz tell me how the flowering stage starts or if there is even one. thnakyou

Some strains auto flower, some start flowering once the days start getting short again I think it is, after the longest day of the year. Depending on where you live you might wanna wait a bit before you start your plants. But if you have some means of lighting, getting your seedlings off to a good start indoors probably would be a good idea. Just read up, theres a lot of info on this forum. A lot of bullshit too. But you just gotta find the good stuff.

Depends on where you live as to when to stick them outside. They'll flower on their own when the days get shorter, different strains start at different times. Check out the stickys they've got good info.

i live in central ky. when do u think it would be best to put the babys outside

Probably not for a while. After the last frost I'd imagine. I have plants going right now I started the 4th but its California and I'm still nervous about starting them too early.

my buddy as 3 plants under a couple cfls and there mybe 2-3 weeks old and pretty good sizes. but hes gettin ready to put them out. i still havent planted mine. im scared aswell

Well, apparently the farmer's almanac says late April for up here in CT, but I just watch the temps and forecasts. I start them inside and stick them outside during the day when it gets warm enough and bring them in at night until it's warm enough to keep outside. If you're just gonna stick them in the ground, then patience is a virtue.

I think your buddy started too early. They may survive, but if you don't even want to risk it, then just hold off.

Yeah I read that the last day of frost around here was around March 13, in pretty much every city in the Bay Area, except directly near me, when it said around April 15. But I think I'll be okay.
