Need help on growing outdoors!

Ok, I live in Long island New York and I want to grow for personal use. I have found a pretty good spot in the woods which gets sunlight. I just want to know if my plan on how I am going to grow will work. I am going to list my plan and please give me some tips and suggestions if I am getting anything wrong. Thanks!

1) First I am ordering these seeds called Top44 because I heard they are a good plant and easy to grow for a first timer.
This is the website I am getting it from: http://buycheapseeds.com/ (the seeds I am buying are the second last one from the bottom of the page) I should receive them in about 10 days-14 days.

2)Next I am going to germinate the seeds through the paper towel method shown on this thread: http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-...ion-420-a.html
I am going to leave it in the cup until it has 3 sets of leaves.

3) Once the plant has three leaf sets, I am going to transfer it into a 10 inch pot and place it outside in the spot I found in the woods. Once I transfer it, I am going to start growing it with the low stress training technique found in this thread: http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-...-training.html

4) This is where I need a little help because I am confused on which soil to use when I transfer the plant into the 10 inch pot. Any suggestions on which soil to use found on a website or any store would be great.

5) After I figure out which soil to use, I am going to water it every other day. Also since I am doing low stress training, there is no need to transfer the plant into the ground right?

So please read this and give me suggestions or changes on how I should grow outdoors. Please give me advice on which soil to choose and overall if you think that my growing plan will be a success. Thanks everyone!

How do you intend to transport 10" pots with MJ growing in them into the woods. You can't just carry it like a house-warming gift.

If you're growing outside, just grow your seedlings until they're good and strong and then put them into prepared holes out in the woods.

You can get this at Lowes:
Kellogg
1.5 Cu. Ft. Patio Plus Outdoor Potting Soil

Item #: 195114 Model: 681
$4.98

This is the website I am getting it from: http://buycheapseeds.com/ (the seeds I am buying are the second last one from the bottom of the page) I should receive them in about 10 days-14 days. Search the seedbank forums on here before ordering.

Once I transfer it, I am going to start growing it with the low stress training technique found in this thread: http://forum.grasscity.com/absolute-...-training.html I wouldn't LST an outdoor plant. That's just my opinion

4) This is where I need a little help because I am confused on which soil to use when I transfer the plant into the 10 inch pot. Any suggestions on which soil to use found on a website or any store would be great. I'd use a grow bag, maybe a 10 gal. You don't want to order soil online. shipping is expensive. I use Sphagnum Peat moss, and I mix in perlite. $6 for a 2 cu.ft. bag at Menards. I've had excellent success with it. Most garden shops have it or can get it if you don't have a Menards.

5) After I figure out which soil to use, I am going to water it every other day. Also since I am doing low stress training, there is no need to transfer the plant into the ground right? Be careful to not overwater. You can leave it in the grow bag, or pot.

So please read this and give me suggestions or changes on how I should grow outdoors. Please give me advice on which soil to choose and overall if you think that my growing plan will be a success. Thanks everyone!
Keep researching, and use the search button on here. I read and researched for a long time before I started growing, and I thought I knew enough. I didn't, and I made mistakes. You will too, just have patience.

If you wouldn't recommend low stress training, what would you recommend for outdoor growing?

Thanks!

topping your plants after they are in the ground outside for a week or two. You will get a bushier plant with more than one main cola= higher yields

I heard if you dont top them then you get a larger top bud, and if you top you get two smaller top buds?

how old are they if they are close to flowering you still can just take a sharp razor and cut at the second oldest set of new growth right before the newest cut at a angle like this / you can even take what you just cut off and put it in a cup of water and a root will magically pop out of the bottom within a few days. then you can take that new plant and put it in soil and you go from a monther plant to one wit ha baby.. sorry im pretty baked

Yes, I am going to be topping my plant when it grows...also is anybody familiar with the strain top44 because that is the one I am purchasing. When I grow it, I do not want it to grow tall and in the description it says it stays pretty small. Can anybody confirm that for me? Thanks I am also worried about someone finding it because it am going to plant it a little further away from some biking trails in the woods...so yea i don't want it to grow too tall.

dont know much about the seed but i know if you top then compact and high yields. its all really about how you grow it, i think. and if im not mistaken someone on here, said that "if you dont feel good enough pinnin a ("$50") twenty dollar bill to a tree nearby then dont." that might be a good idea in your situation.

The only problem is I live in a very populated are long island New York and if I decide to grow, I want to be able to ride my bike to the grow spot rather than drive so it is not suspicious...this is the best wooded area i have found by me, but you can still barely see houses in the distance...errr idk there is another spot which is a sump but there are houses right by it. Also, I will only be growing like two plants so would it be that noticeable?
