I am considering using polymer crystals when i amend my soil for an outdoor grow. They seem like a fantastic idea. Anyone have any ideas on this.

I just bought a little bottle of this stuff from the crafts store near by, and this stuff expands with so much water it is incredible. Im going to mix a tiny amount in with a test pot.

For sure mix a bit with some pro-mix and the like, throw some in a hole in the ground.

Also you can use the crystals mixed with water and odor neutralizing agent, throw some in a 3 gallon bucket, put a fan on top and your odor problem is gone. (if your grow room is kinda small) ONA is kinda hard to find.

I have used these things for yrs (for my Tomato plants) but never the less I find that they work great for those times your going to be away for 3-4 day and can be there to give them water as needed
I will be adding that stuff to me outdoor potted MJ this summer to see how they do?

won't hurt anything to try
