Starting flowering indoors, moving outdoors

I was gonna start some beans indoors (2 big bang, 2 strawberry haze) and let them be in vegetative for about 6 weeks, then start flowering for 2 weeks or so....just about the time where it'll be good enough weather to start putting them outside...how will this affect my grow? I thought it might be good as long as I had a smooth transition, and also my plants would be done a few weeks ahead of the typical outdoor season.. any suggestions/comments???

I wouldn't recommend letting them start to flower inside before putting out in spring. I know "some people" who will let them veg indoors on 18/6 for about a month then switch to 12/12 so they can see if they are males or females once the sex is shown they put the babies outside in corn fields. With 5+ weeks of veg already started along with a few months in early summer the plants reached 10+ feet compared to 6-7 if you were to only veg a week or so indoors. So veg for a month then 12/12 for a couple of days to see sex. Then move out doors and keep a male inside away from the females in case u want to pollinate one isolated female outdoors for next years seed bank. Also they probably wouldn't finish any earlier because the natural light season wont turn 12/12 till august when most plants begin to flower.

Actually you CAN flower buds in the spring time if you live in a warm enough climate. The natural photo period is slowly changing from not much sun to a whole lot of sun during spring so if you live in a place where it's not below freezing you could flower your girls and get a nice spring harvest to enjoy while you plan the grand summer harvest.

The biggest concern, aside from cold temperatures, is the photo period your plants will be subjected to, and that is determined by your location in the world.

In my location, the longest day of the summer is only 13 hrs. 46 min. Now I have not tried to flower plants outside during the summer, I have had good success vegetating indoors and putting the plants out to flower between October - February. I do believe that in my location, the difference between the 24 hr. light the plants get inside and the 13 hrs light they get outside during the summer will induce flowering. The only problem I foresee is the high temperatures and humidity we enjoy from May - Oct.

Good luck

BTW, this link will allow you to chart the sunrise/sunset times for your location.
