The biggest concern, aside from cold temperatures, is the photo period your plants will be subjected to, and that is determined by your location in the world.
In my location, the longest day of the summer is only 13 hrs. 46 min. Now I have not tried to flower plants outside during the summer, I have had good success vegetating indoors and putting the plants out to flower between October - February. I do believe that in my location, the difference between the 24 hr. light the plants get inside and the 13 hrs light they get outside during the summer will induce flowering. The only problem I foresee is the high temperatures and humidity we enjoy from May - Oct. Good luck BTW, this link will allow you to chart the sunrise/sunset times for your location. http://aa.usno.navy.mil/data/docs/RS_OneYear.php |
