Is this worth trying...I live in wv, and I am growing on the mountains,I was wondering if its cool to just dig my holes a few feet deep and wide and pour soil in em to plant my seeds??Also i dont wana bother with buying a bunch of shit to mix soil with so is regular top soil or potting soil good enuff??

Hey i would dig the holes and buy a couple of bags of cheap top soil and one bag of organic soil and mix them 2 to 1. Start your seeds in a 16 or 20 oz plastic cup. Fill the cup 3/4 of the way with only topsoil. Put one seed about 1/4 of a inch underneath the loose soil. sprinkle some water and let sit in the dark for a day or 2 then put under lights indoors for 18/4 for about 2 weeks. Make sure they dont get to big for the cups. Next go to the holes you dug up and cut down the side of the plastic cup and carfully take the plant and the roots in the ball of soil from the cup and place in one of the holes then add soil around the small plant so its level with the ground. Iv grown many plants outdoor germinating like this till i can clone the females.

The mountains in WV have a good humus layer from what I've experienced. You may not even need to buy topsoil. Dig a hole and check out how deep before you hit rock or sand.
